Andrew Atroshenko is a Russian-American contemporary artist known for his vibrant and emotive figurative paintings. Born in 1965 in the city of Pokrovsk, Russia, Atroshenko was accepted into the Art Academy of St. Petersburg, one of the most prestigious art schools in Russia, where he studied under renowned artists. His talent was quickly recognized, and he participated in numerous exhibitions across Europe before moving to the United States.

Atroshenko's work is characterized by its focus on the human form, often capturing the beauty and complexity of emotion through his subjects. His use of bold colors and dynamic compositions adds a sense of movement and life to his paintings.
