About

Brom is an American fantasy artist known for his dark and gothic style, often featuring fantastical and surreal elements. His work is characterized by a blend of horror and fantasy, with intricate details and a moody atmosphere. Brom's illustrations have been widely used in novels, games, and films, contributing significantly to the visual language of modern fantasy art.

Observations

Across all four renders, the style uses heavily visible, broad painterly strokes to build monumental dark-fantasy characters, worn armor, ragged cloth, and skeletal details. Muted earth colors are pushed against deep shadows and occasional red accents, with dramatic atmospheric backgrounds and imposing portrait-like compositions creating a grim, mythic mood.
