About

Dorina Costras is a contemporary Romanian artist known for her ethereal and dreamlike portraits that often explore themes of fantasy and introspection. Her work is characterized by a romantic and mysterious atmosphere, often featuring delicate female figures enveloped in flowing, surreal environments.

Observations

The style combines intimate portraiture with visibly built-up, directional paint strokes and richly textured surfaces. Saturated blue, red, and violet hues, flowing hair and fabric, floral adornments, and softly idealized faces create a dreamy, emotionally expressive atmosphere.
