Observations
The style combines richly textured, visibly painted surfaces with densely described forests, rocks, fur, hair, and twisted branches. Muted blue-green and brown tones, deep shadows, and isolated pale figures create a brooding fairy-tale atmosphere, while oversized creatures and monumental trees give the scenes an epic, surreal scale.
