Mark Knight

About

Mark Knight is an illustrator known for his unique style that blends elements of fantasy and surrealism. His work often features intricate details and imaginative compositions, drawing inspiration from mythological and gothic themes. Knight's illustrations are characterized by their expressive and moody atmosphere, often exploring dark and whimsical subjects.

Observations

Across all four renders, the style uses dense illustrative tattoo imagery with heavy black outlines, intricate internal linework, and strongly expressive animal and humanoid forms. Saturated reds, oranges, pinks, and greens contrast against dark ink-heavy shading, producing ornate, dramatic compositions with a recurring grotesque and fantastical tone.
