About

Nacho Carbonell is a contemporary Spanish designer and artist known for his innovative and experimental approach to sculpture and furniture design. His work often explores the boundaries between art and functionality, incorporating organic forms and textures that evoke a sense of connection with nature.

Observations

The style presents strange, hand-built furniture-like sculptures as realistic gallery photographs, emphasizing their weight, rough fiber surfaces, and thin structural supports. Sparse compositions, muted earthy colors, soft natural light, and generous wall and floor space give the images a quiet, surreal installation-like atmosphere.
