About

Paul Lung is a contemporary artist known for his hyper-realistic pencil drawings, often focusing on detailed portraits and animal subjects. His work is celebrated for its meticulous attention to detail and lifelike quality, capturing the essence of his subjects with precision and depth.

Observations

Across the sheet, richly layered flowers and figures are rendered with visible, fluid brushwork, soft blending, and expressive marks rather than clean graphic edges. Saturated blossoms stand against deep atmospheric grounds, while the portrait introduces stark monochrome ink-like handling within the same painterly, dreamlike visual language.
