About
Rainer Fetting is a German painter and sculptor, known for his association with the Neue Wilde movement, a group of neo-expressionist artists in the late 20th century. His work often explores themes of identity, urban life, and human emotion, characterized by bold colors and expressive brushwork.
Observations
Across all four renders, recognizable figures and portraits are built from broad, visible brushstrokes, rough edges, and emphatic dark linework. Saturated red, blue, and green fields contrast sharply with near-black shadows, producing an expressive, dramatic painted style with cropped, fashion-oriented poses.
