About
Renaissance architecture is a style that emerged in the early 15th century in Italy, characterized by its revival of classical Greek and Roman elements. It emphasizes symmetry, proportion, geometry, and the regularity of parts as demonstrated in the architecture of classical antiquity. This style often features columns, pilasters, lintels, semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, and niches.
Observations
Across all four renders, the style presents elaborate architectural studies in delicate, precise linework with restrained monochrome and pale paper tones. Dense ornament, arches, columns, domes, and facade fragments are arranged as airy presentation plates with generous negative space, combining measured elevation-like drawing with softly shaded illustrative detail.
