Thomas Struth is a renowned German photographer known for his large-scale photographs of urban environments, architecture, and family portraits. His work often explores the relationship between people and their surroundings, capturing the essence of modern life and the impact of urbanization.

Observations

The style is highly realistic and cinematic, presenting richly detailed architectural spaces with strong perspective, monumental arches, and carefully framed depth. Subdued earth tones, deep shadows, and selective shafts of daylight create a moody, atmospheric sense of age across interiors, dense streets, and overgrown glasshouse environments.
