About

Tom Tomorrow is a contemporary American cartoonist known for his satirical comic strip "This Modern World." His work often critiques politics, consumer culture, and technology through a humorous and surreal lens, making him a prominent figure in alternative comics.

Observations

The style uses highly saturated, flat graphic color bounded by heavy black comic outlines, with fine interior hatching and stippled texture adding dimensional detail. It repeatedly combines close-up character portraits with grotesque facial exaggeration, surreal monsters, dense visual clutter, and stark high-contrast compositions.
