DALeast

About

DALeast is a contemporary Chinese street artist known for his dynamic and large-scale murals that often feature animals and natural elements. His work is characterized by a unique style that combines fine art techniques with street art aesthetics, creating a sense of movement and energy.

Observations

The style depicts large animal forms integrated into urban walls, rendered with dense, expressive networks of fine black lines resembling tangled twigs or charcoal strokes. Strong dark figures contrast with weathered brick and plaster facades, combining illustrative drawing with surreal, sculptural-looking forms and an atmospheric street-art setting.
